Tether RE Featured in Inman as One of The Top REALTOR® Safety Tools

Tether RE has been featured in Inman’s recent article, 7 safety resources agents are using now: REALTOR® Safety Month, a guide to tools and technology helping real estate professionals prioritize safety in the field.

Published during REALTOR® Safety Month, the article examines the unique safety considerations real estate professionals face while meeting prospective clients, conducting property showings, hosting open houses, and working independently. Inman notes that open houses can be a particular point of concern, as agents may meet unverified prospects alone.

The article also cites National Association of REALTORS® data indicating that approximately one in five real estate agents have feared for their personal safety or the security of their personal information while on the job. In response, brokerages, associations, and technology providers are offering resources ranging from wearable panic buttons to identity-verification and safety applications.

Tether RE is included among the seven safety resources highlighted by Inman. The recognition underscores the importance of making safety a practical, integrated part of a real estate professional’s daily workflow.

"It means so much to be recognized by Inman for the work we're doing to protect agents in the field," said Vanessa Martin, Co-Founder of Tether RE. "Tether RE is always ready to protect, whether an agent manually triggers an alert or our technology automatically detects a threat and steps in on their behalf. Every agent deserves that kind of always-on protection."

Tether RE is proud to support the broader conversation around REALTOR® safety and the technology available to help professionals take proactive steps before and during in-person appointments.
