Tether RE to Participate in NAR’s REALTOR® Safety Advisory Committee Meeting During the 2026 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings
Tether RE co-founders Scott Martin and Vanessa Martin will attend the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) REALTORS® Legislative Meetings, in Washington, D.C. Vanessa Martin will also participate as a featured speaker during the REALTOR® Safety Advisory Committee Meeting, continuing her longstanding commitment to advancing safety awareness and best practices across the real estate industry.
The session will take place on Monday, June 15, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Room 201. The meeting is a key component of the annual REALTORS® Legislative Meetings, which run from June 13–18. This premier event brings together thousands of members in the nation's capital to conduct the business of NAR, engaging in advocacy work that strengthens the voice of real estate, protects property ownership, and advances both commercial and residential markets through high-level forums and meetings with Capitol Hill representatives.
The REALTOR® Safety Advisory Committee is dedicated to providing member input into the development and promotion of safety best practices. Its mission is to influence behavioral and cultural change throughout the industry, ensuring that safety remains a top priority for real estate professionals and the organizations that lead them. By supporting associations and brokerages in implementing their own safety programs, the committee helps create a more secure environment for agents nationwide.
Vanessa's role as a featured speaker this year follows her successful contributions to the committee in both 2024 and 2025. Her consistent involvement highlights Tether RE's commitment to delivering impactful safety solutions and participating in the national dialogue that shapes the future of the profession.
