When Battery Saver is activated, it limits the activity of background apps to conserve power. Unfortunately, this can interfere with Tether’s 24/7 background monitoring services. These services are essential for ensuring that the app can continuously track and send you important alerts, including proximity notifications.
Our background monitoring services allow Tether to run continuously in the background, providing real-time updates on your device’s location and nearby interactions. When the Battery Saver is on, these monitoring services may be paused or restricted, leading to a delay or failure in receiving critical notifications.
What Will Be Affected
The main features impacted by this disruption will be:
Proximity Alerts: Alerts that notify you when you’re approaching specific locations or other users will not be triggered as expected.
Background Location Monitoring: Continuous tracking and monitoring of your location will be limited, which may result in delayed or inaccurate location data.

Why This Happens
